Grow Without the Grind:
Making AI Work for Your Fundraising and Your Well-Being

This is a free 60-minute webinar for charity fundraisers, freelancers, managers and leaders across the UK charity sector, whether you’re AI-curious or already experimenting and want to use it more intentionally.

What you’ll learn

  • How AI is really showing up in fundraising right now, beyond the hype, and what it can realistically support in in-house and freelance roles

  • Where AI can save you time and mental energy across core fundraising tasks, and where human judgement still matters most

  • How to use AI to support focus, planning and follow-through, not just task completion

  • Simple guardrails for ethical, values-led AI use in the UK charity sector

  • Practical ways to protect your well-being while using AI to work more sustainably

Why join us?

The charity sector is under more pressure than ever, and fundraisers are being asked to do more with less, often while navigating new tools, new expectations and constant change.

In this candid, practical session, Bethany Helliwell-Smith, founder of Awen Coaching, and Phoebe Broad, Director at Constellation Fundraising, draw on their shared experience as former fundraisers to explore how AI can support both effective fundraising and healthier ways of working.

This session is not about keeping up for the sake of it. It’s about making intentional choices, so AI works for you, your role and your well-being, rather than becoming another source of pressure.

You’ll leave with clarity, practical tools you can use straight away, and reassurance that it is possible to grow without the grind.

When?

📅 Date & Time: Wednesday 4th February [11 am - 12 pm]

📍 Online – live on Zoom (recording available to those registered afterwards)

🎁 Includes access to the Fundraiser Well-Being Check from Awen Coaching, plus downloadable AI prompt resources shared during the session.

“Growth doesn’t have to mean endless hustle.”

This webinar is for you if…

  • You feel the pressure to do more with less, and worry that AI is becoming just another thing you are expected to keep up with

  • You are curious about AI, but unsure how to use it without adding to the overwhelm or compromising your values

  • You want practical ways to reduce mental load, admin and decision fatigue in your fundraising role

  • You are working in-house or freelance and want tools that support focus, boundaries and sustainability

  • You care deeply about your work and want a way of working that protects your energy as well as your impact

If any of this sounds familiar, this session will help you pause, make sense of the noise around AI, and decide how to use it in a way that genuinely supports you.

What you’ll take away

This is not about technical theory or becoming an AI expert. It is about clarity and confidence. You will leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of how AI can support your fundraising work without replacing your judgement or voice

  • Insight into where AI can save time and mental energy across common fundraising tasks

  • Practical examples of using AI to support planning, prioritisation and follow-through, not just output

  • Simple guardrails for ethical, values-led AI use in the UK charity sector

  • Greater confidence in setting boundaries around work, technology and expectations

You will walk away with realistic next steps you can use immediately to work more calmly, clearly and sustainably.

Why now?

Fundraisers are under increasing pressure, and new tools are often introduced as quick fixes without space to consider their impact on people.

AI is already part of the fundraising landscape. The choice now is not whether to use it, but how to use it well.

This is a chance to step back and choose an approach that supports your work and your well-being, rather than adding another layer of urgency or comparison.

Join Bethany and Phoebe for a practical, encouraging session designed to help fundraisers use AI in ways that feel ethical, human and sustainable.

This session is about finding a better way forward, one that allows you to grow your impact without burning yourself out.

“Working with Katharine towards the end of a long job-hunting period was a relief. Katharine advocated for me to find an employer who would give me the flexibility I needed as a single parent. I highly recommend working with Katharine, and I am grateful that our paths crossed.”
